Hogan Carter Energy executed a whole home energy consumption audit for an above-average multi-story home and identified key areas for improving energy efficiency. HCE recommended three main enhancements to reduce consumption: add smart plugs with energy monitoring and rigid schedules, swap all legacy lighting with LED bulbs, and, working with a certified electrician, have a Sense home energy monitor installed providing machine learning pattern recognition for devices and compatibility with the smart plugs.
