Hogan Carter Energy executed an energy consumption audit for a client who rents an apartment and identified key areas for improving energy. HCE recommended three main improvements to reduce consumption: swap all legacy lighting with LED bulbs, add a handful of smart plugs to schedule on/off timers, and turn off or sleep desktop computers when not in use.
